Summary of online backup service reviews
Our online backup review revealed that Carbonite holds the best balance of price, features and simplicity, which is why it earned the "Best Overall Value" rating among all of the online backup services. For those who appreciate more advanced features such as file synchronization and public file sharing, SpiderOak offers a slew of value-added nice to haves. We do not recommend AT&T Remote Vault. With notorious bad customer support and and an overpriced service, we would recommend steering clear. Similarly, both Novosoft and Remote Data Backups include very low storage limits for the prices of their plans. Remote Data Backups was the most expensive out of the online backup services that we found, and lacked features offered by many of the less expensive competitors.
